One Way Wireless Construction is seeking crew members for our Distributed Antenna System installation team. The ideal candidate will have a basic construction background and have some exposure to wireless systems, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
The DAS installation position is located in Shakopee, Minnesota. This position reports directly to the Construction Project Manager to execute the projects in accordance with corporate policy..
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel required
- Operating scissor lift (MEWP)
- Use electronic testing equipment including Line Sweep, PIM, OTDR, etc.
- Cabling (Overhead- Fiber optic and Coaxial cable)
- Terminate various cables (RJ50, LDF4, CAT 5/6)
- Clean fiber optic cable (SM, MM)
- Possess or successfully pass all required certifications (OSHA 10, MEWP, RF awareness, etc.)
- Antenna installation and mounting
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Great attitude (solution-minded, problem-solver)
- Great attendance (you arrive when you say you will)
- Great communication (you are engaged, ask lots of questions, and want to be challenged)
- Willing to work overnight as necessary.
- Must undergo a background check.
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
- Previous Construction experience is a big plus.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to climb and work from ladders and Aerial lifts.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 75lbs and be on your feet the majority of shift.
- Overnight travel may be required for future projects.
